Art. 18 Designation of certification body

1 Any person who uses a designation of origin or geographical indication must entrust the certification bodies listed in the product specification with control of the production, processing or refining of the product in question.54

2 The Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research56 shall lay down the minimum requirements for control procedures.57

Art. 18 Désignation de l’organisme de certification

1 Celui qui utilise une appellation d’origine ou une indication géographique doit confier à un organisme de certification défini dans le cahier des charges le contrôle de la production, de la transformation ou de l’élaboration du produit.

2 Le Département fédéral de l’économie, de la formation et de la recherche54 fixe les exigences minimales relatives au contrôle.55
