1 Any person who intends to export genetically modified organisms to a given country for the first time for handling in the environment must first obtain the consent of the competent national authority of the country in question.
2 The application submitted to the said authority must as a minimum contain the information specified in Annex I.
3 The applicant must submit a copy of the application and of the decision of the importing country to the Federal Office for the Environment (the FOEN)13.
13 The designation of the administrative authority has been amended by Art. 16 para. 3 of the Publications Ordinance of 17 Nov. 2004 (SR 170.512.1). This amendment has been made throughout the text.
1 Quiconque entend exporter pour la première fois vers un pays donné des organismes génétiquement modifiés qui feront l’objet d’une utilisation dans l’environnement doit obtenir au préalable l’accord de l’autorité nationale compétente de ce pays.
2 La demande déposée à cet effet doit contenir au minimum les informations spécifiées à l’annexe I.
3 Une copie de la demande et de la décision du pays d’importation doit être remise à l’Office fédéral de l’environnement (OFEV)13.
