Art. 56 Executability

1 Extradition may be executed if the defendant:

a.
expressly requests his own immediate extradition; or
b.
does not give notice within five days of the issue of the ruling that he will file an appeal.

2 If extradition is refused, the Federal Office shall release the person concerned from detention with a view to extradition.

Art. 56 Caractère exécutoire

1 L’extradition est exécutoire:

a.
si la personne poursuivie demande expressément à être remise sans délai ou
b.
si, dans les cinq jours qui suivent la notification de la décision, la personne poursuivie n’a pas déclaré vouloir recourir.

2 Si l’extradition est refusée, l’office fédéral met fin à la détention ordonnée pour l’extradition.
