Art. 122 Civil law

1 The Confederation is responsible for legislation in the field of civil law and the law of civil procedure.

2 The Cantons are responsible for the organisation of the courts and the administration of justice in civil matters, unless the law provides otherwise.

Art. 122 Droit civil

1 La législation en matière de droit civil et de procédure civile relève de la compétence de la Confédération.

2 L’organisation judiciaire et l’administration de la justice en matière de droit civil sont du ressort des cantons, sauf disposition contraire de la loi.
