Art. 32 Modification and deletion of particulars in the Register

1 The IPI shall modify or delete particulars in the Register on application by the registered person or ex officio.

2 It shall modify or delete particulars ex officio when the information required for registration has changed, in particular, when the registered person no longer has an address for service in Switzerland or the registered person’s address for service in Switzerland has changed.

3 Where the IPI modifies or deletes particulars ex officio, it shall notify the registered person of the intended amendment or deletion and set a time limit to respond. If the registered person does not comply with the time limit to respond, the IPI shall modify or delete the corresponding particulars.

4 The IPI may delete particulars ex officio without invitation to respond where:

a.
the Swiss Federal Department of Justice and Police orders the deletion;
b.
the Examination Committee subsequently declares an examination to be invalid;
c.
the registered person is deceased.

Art. 32 Änderung und Löschung von Angaben im Register

1 Das IGE ändert oder löscht die Angaben im Register auf Antrag der eingetragenen Person oder von Amtes wegen.

2 Von Amtes wegen nimmt es die Änderung oder Löschung von Angaben vor, wenn sich die für die Registereintragung erforderlichen Angaben geändert haben, insbesondere wenn die eingetragene Person kein Zustellungsdomizil in der Schweiz mehr hat oder wenn sich das Zustellungsdomizil in der Schweiz geändert hat.

3 Bei einer Änderung oder Löschung von Amtes wegen teilt das IGE der eingetragenen Person die vorgesehene Änderung oder Löschung mit und setzt eine Frist zur Stellungnahme an. Nimmt die eingetragene Person die Frist nicht wahr, so ändert oder löscht das IGE die betreffenden Angaben.

4 Ohne Aufforderung zur Stellungnahme kann das IGE die Angaben von Amtes wegen löschen, wenn:

a.
das Eidgenössische Justiz- und Polizeidepartement die Löschung anordnet;
b.
die Prüfungskommission eine Prüfung nachträglich für ungültig erklärt;
c.
die eingetragene Person verstorben ist.
