Art. 4 Definitions

In this Ordinance:

a.30
products means agricultural crop and livestock products, and foodstuffs prepared essentially from such products;
b.
organic production means production carried out in accordance with Article 3 and Chapter 2;
c.31
preparation means the operations of preserving and/or processing agricultural products, including the slaughter and cutting of livestock products, and also packaging and/or alterations made to the labelling concerning the presentation of the organic production method of the fresh, preserved and/or processed products;
d.
marketing means holding for sale, selling or any other form of placing on the market, and delivery of a product;
e.32
secondary products of genetically modified organisms means substances which are produced from or by genetically modified organisms but which do not contain genetically modified organisms;
f.33
inspection dossier means all information and documentation relevant to the inspection and certification of an operator.

Art. 4 Begriffe

In dieser Verordnung bedeuten:

a.30
Erzeugnisse: pflanzliche und tierische Agrarerzeugnisse sowie Lebensmittel, die im Wesentlichen aus solchen Erzeugnissen bestehen;
b.
biologische Produktion: die Produktion nach den Vorschriften von Artikel 3 und dem 2. Kapitel;
c.31
Aufbereitung: Arbeitsgänge zur Haltbarmachung und/oder Verarbeitung landwirtschaftlicher Erzeugnisse einschliesslich der Schlachtung und der Zerlegung tierischer Erzeugnisse sowie Verpackung und/oder Veränderung der Form des Hinweises auf die biologische Landwirtschaft bei der Etikettierung frischer, haltbar gemachter und/oder verarbeiteter Erzeugnisse;
d.
Vermarktung: das Vorrätighalten zum Verkauf, der Verkauf oder ein anderes Inverkehrbringen und das Ausliefern eines Erzeugnisses;
e.32
Folgeprodukte von gentechnisch veränderten Organismen: Stoffe, die aus oder durch gentechnisch veränderte Organismen erzeugt werden, jedoch keine gentechnisch veränderten Organismen enthalten;
f.33
Kontrolldossier: alle für die Kontrolle und die Zertifizierung eines Unternehmens relevanten Informationen und Dokumente.
