Art. 33a Information system for organic seeds and plant propagating material

1 The Research Institute of Organic Farming (FiBL) Frick operates an information system ‘OrganicXseeds’ for organic seeds and plant propagating material. This information system:

a.
makes it possible to register organically produced propagating material; new registrations must be applied for by the supplier;
b.
provides evidence of current availability of organically produced propagating material.

2 Access to the information system and downloading of information on the current availability of organically produced propagating material are free of charge to users.

3 The Department shall also regulate in particular:

a.
the conditions for entry of a variety in the information system;
b.
access to the data.

Art. 33a Informationssystem für biologisches Saatgut und vegetatives Vermehrungsmaterial


1 Das Forschungsinstitut für biologischen Landbau (FiBL) Frick führt ein Informationssystem «OrganicXseeds» für biologisches Saatgut und vegetatives Vermehrungsmaterial. Dieses Informationssystem:

a.
ermöglicht den Eintrag von biologisch erzeugtem Vermehrungsmaterial; Neueinträge sind vom Anbieter zu beantragen;
b.
ermöglicht den Nachweis der aktuellen Verfügbarkeit von biologisch erzeugtem Vermehrungsmaterial.

2 Der Zugang zum Informationssystem und das Herunterladen von Informationen über die aktuelle Verfügbarkeit von biologisch erzeugtem Vermehrungsmaterial sind für den Verwender unentgeltlich.

3 Das WBF regelt ausserdem insbesondere:

a.
die Voraussetzungen für die Aufnahme einer Sorte in das Informationssystem;
b.
den Zugang zu den Daten.
