1 In order to gather statistics on imports, the Federal Council may decide that certain agricultural products require an import permit.
2 In view of the protective measures that the Federal Council may introduce, the EAER is authorised to suspend the issuing of import permits until the Federal Council has taken a decision.
3 The application of protection clauses in international agreements on the agricultural sector are governed by Article 11 of the Customs Tariff Act of 9 October 198657.
4 Paragraph 2 does not apply to the application of protection clauses in international agreements under:
1 Zur statistischen Überwachung der Einfuhr kann der Bundesrat festlegen, dass bestimmte landwirtschaftliche Erzeugnisse für die Einfuhr einer Bewilligung bedürfen.
2 Das WBF ist befugt, im Hinblick auf Schutzmassnahmen, welche der Bundesrat erlassen kann, die Erteilung von Einfuhrbewilligungen bis zum Entscheid des Bundesrates auszusetzen.
3 Die Anwendung von Schutzklauseln in internationalen Abkommen im Agrarbereich richtet sich nach Artikel 11 des Zolltarifgesetzes vom 9. Oktober 198657.
4 Absatz 2 gilt nicht für die Anwendung von Schutzklauseln in internationalen Abkommen nach:
