Art. 25a Duty of the cantons to report healthcare capacities

The cantons shall be required to report the following regularly to the Coordinated Medical Services:

a.
the total number and occupancy of hospital beds;
b.
the total number and occupancy of hospital beds intended for treating COVID-19 patients, as well as the number of COVID-19 patients currently being treated;
c.
the total number and occupancy of intensive care beds and the number of COVID-19 patients currently being treated and being ventilated in intensive care;
d.
the total number and usage of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation devices (ECMO);
e.
the availability of medical and nursing staff in hospitals;
f.
the maximum capacities, i.e. the total number of patients and of COVID-19 patients that can be treated in their hospitals taking into consideration the numbers of available beds and of available staff.

Art. 25a Meldepflicht der Kantone betreffend die Kapazitäten in der Gesundheitsversorgung

Die Kantone sind verpflichtet, dem Koordinierten Sanitätsdienst regelmässig Folgendes zu melden:

a.
die Gesamtzahl und die Auslastung der Spitalbetten;
b.
die Gesamtzahl und die Auslastung der Spitalbetten, die für die Behandlung von Covid-19-Erkrankungen bestimmt sind, sowie die Anzahl der aktuell behandelten Patientinnen und Patienten mit einer Covid-19-Erkrankung;
c.
die Gesamtzahl und die Auslastung der Intensivpflegebetten sowie die Anzahl der aktuell in Intensivpflege behandelten und beatmeten Patientinnen und Patienten mit einer Covid-19-Erkrankung;
d.
die Gesamtzahl und die Auslastung von Geräten zur extrakorporalen Membranoxygenierung (ECMO);
e.
die Verfügbarkeit von Medizinal- und Pflegepersonal in den Spitälern;
f.
die maximalen Kapazitäten, namentlich die Gesamtzahlen der Patientinnen und Patienten und der Covid-19-Patientinnen und -Patienten, die in ihren Spitälern unter Berücksichtigung der verfügbaren Betten und des verfügbaren Personals behandelt werden können.
