Art. 58 Measures to be taken if dose limits are exceeded

1 If a dose limit as specified in Article 56 paragraphs 1–3 and Article 57 paragraph 1 is exceeded in an occupationally exposed person, then, for the rest of the calendar year, the person concerned may accumulate no more than:

a.
an effective dose of 1 mSv;
b.
an equivalent dose of 15 mSv for the lens of the eye, and of 50 mSv for the skin, hands and feet.

2 The right of the supervisory authority to grant approval in accordance with Article 56 paragraph 2 is reserved.

3 If the dose limit specified in Article 57 paragraph 2 is exceeded, the women concerned must not, for the remainder of their pregnancy, be deployed in controlled or supervised areas as defined in Articles 80 and 85.

Art. 58 Massnahmen bei einer Überschreitung von Dosisgrenzwerten

1 Wird ein Dosisgrenzwert nach den Artikeln 56 Absätze 1–3 und 57 Absatz 1 bei einer beruflich strahlenexponierten Person überschritten, so darf diese Person für den Rest des Kalenderjahres höchstens akkumulieren:

a.
eine effektive Dosis von 1 mSv;
b.
eine Äquivalentdosis von 15 mSv für die Augenlinse und von 50 mSv für die Haut, die Hände und die Füsse.

2 Vorbehalten bleibt die Zustimmung der Aufsichtsbehörde nach Artikel 56 Absatz 2.

3 Schwangere Frauen dürfen bei einer Überschreitung des Grenzwertes nach Artikel 57 Absatz 2 während des weiteren Verlaufs der Schwangerschaft nicht mehr im Kontroll- oder Überwachungsbereich nach den Artikeln 80 und 85 eingesetzt werden.
