Art. 20c Proof of conformity

¹ Proof of conformity comprises:

a.: type-approval granted by an EU Member State for an engine type or engine family in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 2016/1628²⁷; and
b.: engine markings as specified in Article 32 of Regulation (EU) No 2016/1628.

² Conformity may also be proven by means of a certificate issued by a conformity assessment body as specified in Article 18 TBA²⁸ to the effect that the type of machine or equipment with internal combustion engine meets the requirements of Annex 4 Number 4 (certificate of conformity). In this case, the engine must bear the trade mark or trade name of the manufacturer of the engine and the name of the conformity assessment body.

Art. 20c Nachweis der Konformität

¹ Der Nachweis der Konformität umfasst:

a.: eine Typgenehmigung durch einen Mitgliedsstaat der Europäischen Union für einen Motortyp oder eine Motorenfamilie gemäss der Verordnung (EU) Nr. 2016/1628²⁷; und
b.: die Kennzeichnung des Motors nach Artikel 32 der Verordnung (EU) Nr. 2016/1628.

² Der Nachweis der Konformität kann auch mit einer Bescheinigung einer Konformitätsbewertungsstelle nach Artikel 18 THG²⁸, dass der Typ der Maschine oder des Geräts mit Verbrennungsmotor die Anforderungen von Anhang 4 Ziffer 4 erfüllt (Konformitätsbescheinigung), erbracht werden. Dabei muss der Motor mit der Handelsmarke oder dem Handelsnamen des Herstellers des Motors und dem Namen der Konformitätsbewertungsstelle gekennzeichnet sein.
