1 Those required to manage and dispose of radioactive waste shall draw up a waste management programme, which shall include a financial plan up to the time at which the nuclear installations will be taken out of operation. The Federal Council shall specify a deadline by which the waste management programme is to be submitted.
2 The waste management programme shall be reviewed by an authority designated by the Federal Council, after which it shall be forwarded by the Department to the Federal Council for approval.
3 The authority designated by the Federal Council shall monitor compliance with the programme after it has been approved.
4 The persons responsible for the management of radioactive waste are obliged to periodically adapt the programme to changing circumstances.
5 The Federal Council shall provide regular reports on the programme to the Federal Assembly.
1 Die Entsorgungspflichtigen erstellen ein Entsorgungsprogramm. Dieses enthält auch einen Finanzplan bis zur Ausserbetriebnahme der Kernanlagen. Der Bundesrat legt die Frist fest, innert der das Programm zu erstellen ist.
2 Die vom Bundesrat bezeichnete Behörde überprüft das Programm. Das Departement unterbreitet es dem Bundesrat zur Genehmigung.
3 Die vom Bundesrat bezeichnete Behörde überwacht die Einhaltung des Programms.
4 Die Entsorgungspflichtigen müssen das Programm periodisch an veränderte Verhältnisse anpassen.
5 Der Bundesrat erstattet der Bundesversammlung regelmässig Bericht über das Programm.
