Art. 26 Reporting currency

1 Reporting Swiss financial institutions must specify in the reports the currency in which the amounts are denominated.

2 They may indicate the amounts in the following currencies:

a.
in the currency in which the financial account is maintained;
b.
in the reference currency specified by the account holder;
c.
in Swiss francs; or
d.
in US dollars.

Art. 26 Währung bei der Meldung

1 Die meldenden schweizerischen Finanzinstitute müssen in den Meldungen die Währung nennen, auf die die Beträge lauten.

2 Sie können die Beträge in den folgenden Währungen angeben:

a.
in der Währung, in der das Finanzkonto geführt wird;
b.
in der Referenzwährung, die die Kontoinhaberin oder der Kontoinhaber bestimmt hat;
c.
in Franken; oder
d.
in US-Dollar.
