1 The Federal Council shall regulate the terms of employment and occupational pension scheme of the full-time members of the ETH Board, and the director of each of the four research institutes within the ETH Domain in accordance with the Federal Personnel Act of 24 March 200034 (FPA) and des PUBLICA Act of 20 December 200635.
2 The other members of the ETH Board have a public-law contractual relationship with the Federal Government. The Federal Council determines the compensation and the other terms of the contract.

1 Der Bundesrat regelt die Anstellungsbedingungen und die berufliche Vorsorge der vollamtlichen Mitglieder des ETH-Rates, der Schulpräsidenten und der Direktoren der Forschungsanstalten im Rahmen des Bundespersonalgesetzes vom 24. März 200034 (BPG) und des PUBLICA-Gesetzes vom 20. Dezember 200635.
2 Die übrigen Mitglieder des ETH-Rates stehen zum Bund in einem öffentlich-rechtlichen Auftragsverhältnis. Der Bundesrat legt die Entschädigung und die weiteren Vertragsbedingungen fest.
