A partial surrender of the European patent may not be requested so long as opposition to this patent may be filed with the European Patent Office or a final decision has not yet been taken with regard to an opposition, a limitation or a revocation.

Ein teilweiser Verzicht auf das europäische Patent kann nicht beantragt werden, solange beim Europäischen Patentamt gegen dieses Patent ein Einspruch möglich oder über einen Einspruch, eine Beschränkung oder einen Widerruf noch nicht rechtskräftig entschieden worden ist.
