Art. 27e Non-applicable provisions

1 By way of derogation from Articles 17 and 18, a geographical mark may not be transferred or licensed.

2 By way of derogation from Article 31, the proprietor of a geographical mark may not oppose the registration of a trade mark.

3 The provisions governing the use of the trade mark and consequences of non-use under Articles 11 and 12 do not apply.

Art. 27e Nicht anwendbare Bestimmungen

1 Die geografische Marke kann in Abweichung der Artikel 17 und 18 nicht übertragen oder lizenziert werden.

2 Der Inhaber einer geografischen Marke kann in Abweichung von Artikel 31 keinen Widerspruch gegen die Eintragung einer Marke erheben.

3 Die Bestimmungen über den Gebrauch und die Folgen des Nichtgebrauchs der Marke nach den Artikeln 11 und 12 sind nicht anwendbar.
