The mandatory law of the Confederation and the cantons takes precedence over the collective employment contract; however, other provisions may be agreed to the benefit of employees provided they do not conflict with mandatory law.
Das zwingende Recht des Bundes und der Kantone geht den Bestimmungen des Gesamtarbeitsvertrages vor, jedoch können zugunsten der Arbeitnehmer abweichende Bestimmungen aufgestellt werden, wenn sich aus dem zwingenden Recht nichts anderes ergibt.
