Art. 10a Federal Council spokesperson

1 The Federal Council appoints a leading member of the Federal Chancellery as Federal Council spokesperson.

2 The Federal Council spokesperson:

a.
provides information on behalf of the Federal Council to the general public;
b.
advises the Federal Council and its members on information and communication issues;
c.
coordinates the information activities of the Federal Council, the departments and the Federal Chancellery.

Art. 10a Bundesratssprecher oder Bundesratssprecherin

1 Der Bundesrat bestimmt ein leitendes Mitglied der Bundeskanzlei als Bundesratssprecher oder -sprecherin.

2 Der Bundesratssprecher oder die Bundesratssprecherin:

a.
informiert im Auftrag des Bundesrates die Öffentlichkeit;
b.
berät den Bundesrat und seine Mitglieder in Informations- und Kommunikationsfragen;
c.
koordiniert die Informationstätigkeit des Bundesrates, der Departemente und der Bundeskanzlei.
