1 Die Verwendung der UID durch Dritte ist nur zulässig, wenn die UID im UID-Register publiziert ist oder die betroffene UID-Einheit ihre Einwilligung gegeben hat.
2 Die UID-Stellen sind für den Datenschutz und die Datensicherheit bei der Führung und Verwendung der UID-Daten verantwortlich.
3 Das BFS trifft die notwendigen technischen und organisatorischen Massnahmen, um den Datenschutz und die Datensicherheit bei der Führung und Verwendung des UID-Registers zu gewährleisten.
