1 Ein Lagerhalter, der sich öffentlich zur Aufbewahrung von Waren anerbietet, kann von der zuständigen Behörde die Bewilligung erwirken, für die gelagerten Güter Warenpapiere auszugeben.
2 Die Warenpapiere sind Wertpapiere und lauten auf die Herausgabe der gelagerten Güter.
3 Sie können als Namen-, Ordre- oder Inhaberpapiere ausgestellt sein.

2 Where feasible, he must inform the bailor of any changes in the condition of the goods that call for further measures.
3 He must allow the bailor to inspect the goods and to take test samples during business hours and to take measures necessary to preserve the goods at any time.
